A large-scale project that once again places Moldtech’s engineering expertise and manufacturing capabilities at the service of the international precast concrete industry. The company has designed, manufactured and supplied a total of 24 tilting tables in Argentina for the industrial production of non-prestressed precast concrete panels.

The scale of this supply reflects the trust that manufacturers around the world continue to place in Moldtech for projects where production capacity, precision, equipment robustness and manufacturing continuity are decisive factors.

Each new international project further consolidates a track record built on decades of experience, in-house engineering and specialised manufacturing. In this case, the supply of 24 tilting tables once again demonstrates Moldtech’s ability to develop large-scale industrial solutions tailored to the specific requirements of each production plant.

An industrial solution for precast panel production

The tables are designed for the production of non-prestressed precast concrete panels, primarily intended for industrial construction projects.

Each unit incorporates hydraulic tilting, adjustable panel thicknesses, pneumatic vibration, heating and magnetic fixing systems, creating a comprehensive solution for organising the main stages of the production process within the plant.

The industrialised production of panels makes it possible to work under controlled conditions during the preparation, casting, compaction, curing and demoulding stages, supporting dimensional consistency, repeatability and the maintenance of uniform manufacturing standards.

When this capacity is multiplied across a supply of 24 tables, the result is an installation prepared to handle high-volume production while maintaining control over every stage of the process.

Modular tables measuring 24 × 3.5 metres

Each table consists of two modules measuring 12 metres long and 3.5 metres wide. When joined together, they form a continuous production surface measuring 24 metres in length and 3.5 metres in width.

Each module incorporates a fixed frame anchored to the foundation by means of supports, together with a tilting platform designed to reach a maximum angle of 74°.

This configuration facilitates demoulding and the subsequent handling of the panels once the concrete has achieved the required strength. The modular concept also simplifies the transport, assembly and installation of the equipment at the destination plant.

The combination of a large usable production surface and a modular configuration allows the installation to be adapted to the requirements involved in manufacturing large-format panels.

Production of panels with adjustable thicknesses

Each installation can produce non-prestressed precast concrete panels with a maximum length of 24 metres, a maximum height of 3.5 metres and thicknesses ranging from 100 to 300 mm.

The thickness is adjusted mechanically and manually by repositioning a lower longitudinal side form.

The system can accommodate thicknesses of 100, 150, 200, 250 and 300 mm.

This capability provides greater production flexibility and allows the same table to be adapted to different panel configurations, expanding the installation’s range of applications.

Hydraulic tilting for large panels

The tilting operation is performed by six telescopic hydraulic cylinders with a maximum stroke of 1,800 mm.

The movement is managed from the hydraulic power unit’s control cabinet, which controls the pump start and stop functions, platform raising and lowering, system reset and emergency stop.

The hydraulic power unit features:

Electric motor: 7.5 kW.
Pump flow rate: 32 litres per minute.
Working pressure: 140 bar.
Oil tank capacity: 225 litres.

The system is designed to ensure controlled and reliable operation during one of the most critical stages of the production cycle: demoulding and subsequently raising the panel to a vertical position.

Pneumatic vibration for uniform compaction

The tables incorporate a pneumatic vibration system distributed along the underside of the frame.

Its purpose is to promote uniform concrete compaction during pouring and contribute to the production of elements with a high-quality surface finish.

The vibrators can be operated individually, allowing the intensity and distribution of vibration to be adapted to the area occupied by each panel and to the specific requirements of each production cycle.

This adjustment capability reinforces one of the fundamental principles of Moldtech’s engineering: adapting the equipment to the production process, rather than adapting the production process to the equipment.

Heating system for controlled curing

The tables are equipped with a heating system that circulates hot water or steam through steel pipes located beneath the production surface.

This circuit distributes heat evenly throughout the curing process.

The installation includes supply and return connections, as well as ball valves that allow the flow to be activated or interrupted according to specific production requirements.

Controlling this stage helps to maintain more stable and predictable production conditions, which is particularly important when working with repetitive industrial cycles.

Configuration using magnetic fixing systems

The production surface is complemented by magnetic elements designed to define the dimensions of the components.

The supplied magnets have a holding capacity of 900 kg and include a specific tool for releasing them.

The system makes it easier to modify the moulding area and allows the table configuration to be adapted without making permanent alterations to the production surface.

This flexibility expands the production possibilities and facilitates the adaptation of the installation to different geometries and project requirements.

24 tables, large-scale production capacity

The true scale of the project becomes clear when the supply is considered as a whole.

It is not merely a question of the individual capabilities of each unit, but of 24 tables operating under the same engineering, quality and manufacturing standards.

The combination of hydraulic, pneumatic, thermal and magnetic systems allows the preparation of the mould, the positioning of reinforcement and spacers, concrete pouring, compaction, curing and subsequent panel demoulding to be carried out in a controlled manner.

The integration of a large working surface, adjustable panel thicknesses, hydraulic tilting, pneumatic vibration, heating and magnetic fixing provides versatility and reliability throughout the production process.

The result is an installation designed for continuous production while maintaining dimensional precision and repeatability, even as manufacturing volumes increase.

International trust in Moldtech translates into major projects

The supply of 24 tilting tables represents far more than an industrial operation.

It means that a customer is entrusting a fundamental part of its future production capacity to Moldtech’s engineering and manufacturing expertise.

This trust is precisely one of the company’s greatest assets, built throughout its international track record.

Both new customers and those who choose Moldtech again find in the company a partner capable of supporting projects from the initial engineering stages through to the manufacturing and commissioning of solutions specifically developed to meet their requirements.

Each project therefore becomes a new example of a working approach based on manufacturing quality, technical expertise, adaptability, the continuous development of solutions and a firm commitment to the customer’s final result.

Designed and manufactured in Spain. Installed to compete worldwide.

The tables were designed and manufactured in Spain, strengthening Moldtech’s presence in Argentina and consolidating its international experience as a manufacturer of moulds, equipment and solutions for the precast concrete industry.

The ability to undertake a supply of this scale demonstrates Moldtech’s industrial strength and its position as one of the international leaders in the development of equipment for precast concrete plants.

Because when a project demands scale, precision, robustness and production capacity, the choice of equipment matters.

And once again, that trust has a name:

Moldtech.
