Moldtech has installed and supplied a set of pre-stressing heads with a capacity of 600 Tn, designed for the manufacture of prestressed elements.

The prestressing heads are elements designed to exert a reaction force to the amount of pull resulted of the tension of strands. The supplied system consists of an active stressing head and a passive stressing head, both designed to be anchored to foundation pits. The set has been completed with a hydraulic unit which controls the relaxation of the cylinders independently to carry out this manoeuvre quickly and safely.
