Moldtech has developed a semi-automatic carousel system for precast concrete panel production, arranged in a closed-loop circuit that integrates the different stages of the manufacturing process.
The installation comprises four working areas dedicated to pallet and reinforcement preparation, concrete casting and vibration, stacking and curing, and demoulding. Pallets are transported by motorised friction wheels and transverse transfer carts, allowing movement between production stations.
The system incorporates six electric vibrators, four stacking positions with a capacity of five pallets each, and a hydraulic tilting table with an inclination of up to 74° to facilitate panel demoulding.
The production line features centralised control via a Siemens S7-1500 PLC and HMI touchscreens, enabling operators to monitor movements, configure operating parameters and manage the different production stations.
