Moldtech has developed a system consisting of a configurable 3D mould for transformer substations and a 6.8 × 3.3 m fixed table, designed to manufacture different non-prestressed precast concrete elements.
The 3D mould produces one-piece transformer substation modules, including the floor slab and walls. Its modular configuration allows the manufacture of elements with lengths of 4.65, 5.15, 5.9 and 6.4 m, and widths ranging from 2.45 to 2.95 m.
The equipment incorporates a configurable central core, movable external side panels, eight hydraulic cylinders to assist demoulding and a pneumatic vibration system with ten vibrators.
The project also includes a fixed table for manufacturing panels measuring up to 6.8 m long and 3.3 m wide. It is equipped with magnetic formwork and a pneumatic vibration system installed beneath the working surface to support concrete compaction.
Together, both systems enable production to be adapted to different substation dimensions and configurations, covering the manufacture of the main module and its complementary panels.
