HYDRAULIC 3D MOULD FOR PRECAST CONCRETE MODULES

Moldtech has developed a 5.7 × 2.4 × 3.1 m 3D mould for manufacturing non-prestressed precast concrete modules with different geometries and configurations. Through the use of specific extensions and formwork elements, the equipment can produce up to six different types of elements according to the project requirements.

The system consists of a collapsible central core, hydraulically operated movable external side panels, adjustment extensions and magnetic formwork. The hydraulic power unit controls the opening and closing of the side panels, as well as the expansion and collapse of the core during moulding and demoulding operations.

The extensions reduce the thickness of the short walls by 50 mm, while the modular formwork elements make it possible to remove or modify specific faces of the module to obtain the required configurations.

The mould incorporates a pneumatic vibration system with 12 vibrators positioned on the external side panels to support the flow and homogeneous compaction of the concrete during pouring.

It also includes a heating system with two 6 kW air heaters installed inside the core. The heating and curing process can be managed from an HMI screen in manual or automatic mode, controlling parameters such as temperature, curing time, heating rate and cooling.
