Moldtech supplies 1000 Tn prestressing heads and side moulds for the production of the T-shaped beams and L-shaped beams to Latvia.
Moldtech has installed a set of prestressing heads with a capacity of 1000 Tn and side moulds designed for the manufacture of prestressed L-shaped and T-shaped beams. Our new client from Latvia is a benchmark in precast concrete in Scandinavia and Eastern Europe.
These heads have been installed in an existing hollow-core slab casting bed to minimize the customer’s investment. For sure without forgetting the goal of optimizing production and satisfying the client´s needs.
Thus, the mould sides for T-shaped beams are equipped with a fixing system which adapts to the existing casting bed quickly and safely. Then, we incorporate a pneumatic vibration and internal heating system on the sides to speed up manufacturing times.
As a complement to the supply, the corresponding tensioning equipment for strands necessary for the manufacture of prestressed elements is incorporated.
Finally, our on-site team has made a complete assembly of the equipment described. In addition, Moldtech, as usual, has carried out training for local plant operators, showing the correct use of the equipment. Thus, total customer satisfaction can be guaranteed according to the highest demands, and it is a rule in each of our projects.
