Prefabricados de Hormigones Montalbán y Rodríguez, S.A. is a Spanish client located in the province of Murcia. This company manufactures a wide range of precast concrete products, being its specialty the production of lightweight precast elements, urban furniture and architectural concrete.
After long experience working with our moulds with successful results, the company relies, once again, on Moldtech for the supply of different moulds to manufacture precast railway platforms.
These moulds are designed based on a linear battery concept to achieve a high production capacity. Each mould has a total length of 6 meters and a set of 5 shutters to allow producing 5 pieces per cycle.
Being a finished architectural element, the manufacturing quality and the bas-reliefs must have great precision and a perfect surface finish.
It should be noted that, due to the use of self-leveling concrete with 10 to 15 cm of settlement of the Abrams cone, these mould have been designed with a pneumatic vibration system and great tightness.
