MOLDTECH GROWS 30% BY 2023 AND GETS 97% OF ITS TURNOVER FROM INTERNATIONAL MARKETS

The company Moldtech, specialised in the manufacture of machinery for precast concrete and based in Alcalá de Guadaira (Seville), has reported a remarkable growth of 30% in its turnover during 2023 compared to the previous year. This increase has enabled it to reach a turnover of 23 million euros and it is expected to exceed 25 million euros in 2024.

Since 2020, Moldtech has multiplied its turnover by 300% and achieved an EBITDA of 15% in 2023. This evolution consolidates the company as a world leader in the supply of equipment and global solutions to customers on five continents, standing out in the residential, civil and industrial sectors with innovative solutions in moulds and machinery.

Recently, Moldtech has been highlighted in the prestigious ABC newspaper, one of the most important media in Spain, in its economy section of 21 May 2024. This publication highlights Moldtech’s crucial role in the precast concrete industry and its continuous economic growth year after year.

International Expansion and New Contracts

Moldtech has secured new contracts with construction companies and blue chip clients in established markets such as the US, Australia, UK and Canada. Notable projects include:

  • United States: Supply of moulds for the construction of a new prison in Alabama.
  • United Kingdom: State-of-the-art equipment for the manufacture of prestressed bridge girders for the H2S project of the new Crewe to London high-speed train.
  • Romania: Major contract with UMB, the country’s largest civil works construction company.

In addition, the company is in the final stages of negotiating a significant contract in Southeast Asia for the production of finished housing modules that are assembled on site using the PPVC system, which is widely used in Asia, with plans to implement it in Europe and the Americas.

Workforce Growth and Commitment to R&D

With a current workforce of 140 employees, Moldtech plans to increase its team to 180 people by the end of 2024. This increase in staff is driven by the company’s strong focus on exports to international markets since its inception.

Moldtech maintains its commitment to research and development (R&D), which is reflected in the recent opening of modern offices where the technical department has the capacity to expand and carry out multiple engineering projects.
