Moldtech, a leading manufacturer of advanced solutions for the precast concrete industry, continues to expand its global presence.

Moldtech, shares its experience all over the world, offering high-quality solutions and strengthening its position as a benchmark in the industry. On this occasion Moldtech returns to Canada, specifically in Vancouver completing the installation of a set of 400Tn stressing heads.

Our client in Vancouver, Canada has been providing infrastructure solutions since 2000. Their leadership and experience span the entire value chain, from research and development to the design, financing, construction, operation and maintenance of complex projects.

The project where Moldtech is taking part is the construction of the new Patullo Bridge over the Fraser River, in the Vancouver metropolitan area. The new bridge, which replaces the previous one, will have four lanes (two in each direction) for cars and commercial vehicles, separated by a security median.

On this occasion, the 400Tn  prestressing system is supplied, designed for the manufacture of parts for the bridge covering. The equipment is designed to work with cable tensioning and destressing equipment with a maximum capacity of 400 tons. The scope of supply includes a 400TN active and passive stressing heads, a hydraulic unit and a cable tensioning equipment. It is used to produce any prestressed element, where the mould itself is capable of withstanding the tensioning efforts.

The Moldtech and its client alliance aims to respond to the main needs of society by providing sustainable infrastructure solutions that will have a positive impact on people and the planet for generations to come.

As global demand continues to grow, Moldtech is poised to continue leading the way with its focus on quality, efficiency and excellence in every project it undertakes.
