Self-reacting mould for manufacturing prestressed concrete T-joists, featuring ten parallel production lanes and an overall length of 59 metres. The frame comprises five sections of 11.8 metres and incorporates active and passive stressing heads, with a nominal prestressing capacity of 2,500 kN. The ten transverse dividers supplied allow different casting lengths to be configured and multiple pieces to be positioned along the lanes, adapting production to the requirements of each batch.
The active stressing head features two hydraulic detensioning cylinders and mechanical locking collars that maintain the load during concrete curing. Once the concrete reaches the required strength, the system allows the tension in the prestressing strands to be released gradually. Concrete compaction is provided by twenty pneumatic vibrators installed beneath the frame, operating at 16,000 vibrations per minute with individual controls. Both stressing heads incorporate protective enclosures around the strand anchorage areas.
