The installation consists of a central longitudinal rail, two independent transport trolleys and 50 lateral work and storage cells—25 on each side. The trolleys perform longitudinal movements and transverse transfers with lifting functions to pick up, transport and position prefabricated bathroom pods ranging from 1.9 × 2.1 m to 2.4 × 4 m and weighing approximately 1.6 to 3.7 tonnes. The line can operate in automatic or manual mode and is managed through a centralised HMI control system for selecting origin and destination positions, controlling movements, configuring parameters and monitoring alarms.
