Last month, Moldtech completed the production and commissioning of equipment for precast concrete manufacturing for Polidano Group.
Polidano is one of the mainstays of the Maltese economy, and has been part of huge construction projects such as residential and retail complexes as Tigne’ Point and Portomaso, the international gateway of Malta International Airport, the Mgarr ferry terminal, and the extensive Malta Freeport infrastructure.
In this project, we have installed self-supporting bed for the production of Y, T, and I beams up to 32 meters in length. These beams will be needed for the construction of industrial structures, commercial, parking, offices and beams for bridges.
Also, we have designed moulds for pillars with side corbels and hydraulic adjusting, and moulds for enclosing panels, both of them equipped with mechanical vibratory system.
The equipment will be used in works such as the extension of Paymobil factory, which involves an extension of 16,000 square meters and an investment of €30 million.
