Moldtech was selected by an important company on the island of Malta specialized in civil engineering and infrastructure works, for the design and manufacture of different moulds for New Jersey barriers.
The first project has included: a double mould for barriers of 8 meters length and 83 cm in height, with intermediate separators, a simple mould for sloped end-line barriers, of 4 meters in length, and all its accessories.
Given the success of this first stage, two more projects followed, which included: a second double mould of 8-meter-long barriers with its accessories, and a special simple mould for 8-meter-long barriers, with a base for fixing road light poles.
The experience in this type of moulds and our precast technical know-how have been the key to this project, in which our team of engineers has worked hand in hand with the client to transform the engineering designs of the barriers into moulds that allow them to be reproduced in compliance with the regulations and design requirements of these New Jersey barriers.
