On this occasion we supplied one of our loyal customers with a 1300Tn pre-stressing head and a 100m, universal casting bed systems.
Prestressed elements are manufactured on top of in universal casting bed to which mould sides are attached. The universal track system can incorporate a heating system for the purpose of accelerating the curing of the concrete.
The pre-stressing system consists of an active head and a passive head of 1300Tn, located at the extreme ends of a universal casting bed, which, when assembled as an integrated unit, allow the production of prestressed concrete beams. Two slackening cylinders of 680 Tn and 400 mm stroke are included in the scope of supply.
In this case the pestressing heads require the construction of foundation pits.
Prestressing heads are elements designed to provide anchoring for the force resulting from the tensioning of the cables.
The system usually consists of an active and a passive tensioning head, the prestressing heads are designed in accordance with the maximum total forces to be applied.
