Moldtech will participate in the 2019 edition of Bauma, one of the most important fairs worldwide in the construction sector, which will take place in Berlin from April 8 to 14, 2019.
Canada, one of the world’s most important markets for the international construction machinery, building material plant and mining machine industry. will be the “partner country” chosen for this edition of the fair, thus having a special role.
Its construction industry, with a volume of 102 billion euros, and the mining sector, with an amount of 116 billion euros, together account for more than 15% of the country’s gross domestic product, which makes Canada a market of Sales very stable, attractive and dynamic. In addition, the free trade agreement (CETA) recently signed with the European Union will give new impetus to bilateral trade with this region.
From Moldtech, we have already developed some projects in Canada, where last year we installed a self-supporting mould for TT slabs of 134 meters in length, indicated for the casting of slabs with double pre-stressed ribs of 3.60 meters wide.
For both the installation and testing production of the equipment, Moldtech sent a complete team of professionals which worked in close cooperation with the client, thus transfering our production know-how in order to the highest possible performance of the new equipment.
Bauma 2019
The exhibition area will hence span more than 614,000 square meters (9,000 more than in the 2016 edition) distributed along 18 halls and open spaces. The organizer anticipates the participation of more than half a million visitors (in 2016 there were 580,000 people) from around 200 countries.
The largest sector construction machines and attachments is expanded from four to five halls as well as by an additional area outdoors, directly adjacent to the hall complex.
For Moldtech, participating in such large-scale fairs is a key factor in our international commercial expansion, the basis of our diversification and competitiveness.
