Firstly, “Giraffe“, the self-propelled vehicle that offers a practical solution for transporting and pouring concrete at the precast plants being an alternative to the use of gantry crane.
The “Giraffe” vehicle is one of the most versatile and efficient products that Moldtech has designed and created.
It has hydraulic frontal direction, a hopper capacity of 3 cubic meters, a displacement speed up to 20 km/h and an engine power of 70kW.
In addition, “Giraffe” has the cooling system of the hydraulic system by means of radiator and the machine has a parking brake system.
The equipment complies with the most demanding CE safety regulations.
The length of the endless conveyor is 4 meters and it pushes the concrete to the pouring gate, which has a guillotine-type concrete pouring control system. The maximum angle of the endless conveyor goes up to 17º to the vertical, thus adapting to an infinite number of moulds and equipment where concrete is required.
In addition, “Giraffe” is easy to operate and very safe, its intuitive control system allows the operator to do all the movements of the vehicle precisely and safely.

Secondly, we will talk about the “8m3 Concrete skip“, the 8m3 concrete skip is designed for the distribution of concrete.
It consists of an 8m3 inner bucket, so that it can be turned 90º and filled horizontally directly from the truck mixer.
Once filled, the equipment is raised so that it is at the height of the operator. The concrete pour gate is manually operated, providing greater control and precision in distribution process.
The concrete bucket may feature a vibration system to fluidize the concrete while pouring and thus improving the finishing surface of the element. Another option for pouring is to incorporate an endless screw system, when it is necessary to fill the moulds by means of a hose.

The concrete distributor can be mounted on portico structure, or semi-portico structure, when mounted on a bi-rail crane system, to spread the concrete along different moulds. Distributor speed is normally adjustable. The capacity of the hopper is from 2 m3 to 4 m3 according to the client’s need.
The hopper moves sideways to be able to do selective concreting. In addition, the option of turning the hopper can be included. The discharge gate is activated by hydraulic cylinders and all movements are activated by a remote control.
