1,500 T SELF-SUPPORTING PRESTRESSING BED

The 1,500-t self-supporting prestressing bed, developed by Moldtech, is designed for the production of long-span prestressed concrete beams, operating on a hydraulic track of up to 85 m, enabling projects with high structural and production demands.

The beam cross-section is configurable, as it can be adapted according to the set of side forms and the mould coupled to the track, offering high versatility for the production of different beam typologies. The system is prepared to operate with cable stressing and release processes, ensuring precise control of the applied forces and achieving a maximum stressing capacity of 1,500 tonnes, suitable for large cross-section and long-span elements.

The bed features a fully self-supporting structure, eliminating the need for anchoring to special foundations and facilitating installation in precast plants or in-situ production environments. This configuration provides stability, operational safety, and a uniform distribution of forces along the entire installation.

The scope of supply includes an active anchorage head and a passive anchorage head, a 92-m-long self-supporting structure, a hydraulic track 85 m long and 3.8 m wide, as well as interchangeable bottom forms with widths of 950 and 500 mm, allowing adaptation to different beam designs and project requirements. Overall, it is a robust and flexible solution, designed for the production of large prestressed elements under high technical standards.
