3D MOLDS FOR MODULES OF DIFFERENT SIZES

Moldtech designs hydraulic molds that allow for the creation of 2 or 4 cells at a time for a significant 3D prefabricated construction project aimed at installing prison cells for a client in the U.S.A.

The scope of supply includes:

  • 1 MOULD TO MANUFACTURE 4 STANDARD CELLS (QUADCELL)
  • MOULD TO MAKE 4 CELLS FOR HANDICAPPED PERSONS (QUADCELL)
  • 2 DOUBLE HEALTH CARE MOLDS
  • 1 DOUBLE RHU MOULD (RESTRICTED HOUSING UNIT)
  • 1 PLENUM MOLD TO COVER 4 CELLS
  • 2 PLENUM MOLD TO COVER 2 CELLS

The installed moulds allow a multitude of adjustments for different parts, such as wall thicknesses, module height, protruding reinforcements or the window and door position. Moreover it ensures a very efficient manufacture due to its fully hydraulic demoulding system which makes it possible to optimize quality and productivity.

This company is supplied with two 8M3 CONCRETE BUCKETS in the PROY22-055. This is designed for the distribution of concrete. It consists of an 8 m3 inner bucket, so that it can rotate 90º and be filled horizontally directly from the concrete mixer truck. Once filled, the equipment is raised so that it is at operator height. Its concrete pouring gate is manually operated.

At Moldtech we are highly specialized in the design and manufacture of flexible moulds for 3d modules (PPVC). Our modular moulds allow to adjust measurements in width and length of the modules within the same project and for future projects with minimal additional investment.
