Mould for U box girder

The main advantage of the self-reacting mould is the possibility of moving it to different locations, which optimizes the investment costs of each project.

The manufacturing line for prestressed box girders is composed of an active stressing head and a passive stressing head, located at the ends of a self-reacting structure, which, together with the side molds, provide the shape of the pieces to be manufactured.

To carry out the manufacturing process it is necessary to use additional systems:

– Hydraulic relaxation unit

– Prestressing equipment

– Vibration system

– Hydraulic group for the collapsible inner core

The molds are adjustable in height, width and length.

The prestressing capacity of the entire system can reach up to 1,900 tons.
