Mould for U girders

The U-girder (or so-called Omega plank) is used mainly in the industrial sector. Its geometry manages to provide the collection of rainwater, as well as forming a large part of the building’s roof, with maximum spans of 25 m. It can incorporate the covering sheet and insulation at the factory, thus providing a complete solution for waterproofing the roof. Its flexibility also allows the placement of photovoltaic solar panels, air conditioning equipment, etc.

Additionally, welding two profiles at the end of the top slabs, forming a type of tube with an almost square section, in some cases allows the use of the interior space as ducts.
