Moldtech supplies two tilting tables in Monterrey for its mexican client with one of the best precast plants in the north of the Mexican Republic
Our Mexican client trusts Moldtech once again contracting additional equipment to its existing production line. The use of these tilting tables will allow the client to speed up their manufacturing processes, reduce production times and, ultimately, increase their capacity to meet the growing demand for precast concrete panels in the Mexican market.
Moldtech tilting tables are designed to produce precast concrete panels in various thicknesses for residential, commercial and industrial construction. Its tilting mechanism allows the panels to be easily removed in the vertical position with less concrete hardening time.
The tilting mechanism consists of a set of telescopic hydraulic cylinders and their number and load capacity will depend on the size and load capacity of the table. The cylinders are activated by means of a hydraulic power unit with an electrical control panel that can command one or several tables, depending on the project.
Tilting tables can incorporate one or more sides depending on the type of panels to be casted.
Tilting table sides can be fixed, hinged or height adjustable. In addition, the movement of the sides can be done mechanically or hydraulically.
Two tilting tables are supplied made up of 5 modules of 11.8m long each one. The union of the modules configures a production line of 60m long and 3.7m wide.
The modules are made up of a fixed frame, with supports fixed to the foundation, and a tilting tabletop that allows a maximum inclination of 74º.
The tables have an upper longitudinal side that allows the manufacture of straight panels of variable height between 2.7m and 3.7m. Additionally, the upper side has a system of lifting cylinders that allows horizontal movement without friction between the elements of the side and the table top sheet. The tables also incorporate a height-adjustable lower longitudinal side that allows the manufacture of panels with a thickness between 100 and 250 mm.
To ensure a fine and shiny finish on the panel surface, Moldtech can give the moulding surface of the tilting table an optimal polish that gives a mirror effect.
