We announce the successful completion of another outstanding project in Romania for one of our most long-established clients.
Moldtech has completed the installation of a 1400-ton capacity prestressing system and universal casting bed with dimensions of W=1.2m, L=96m, and E=6mm. This project includes pre-stressing and de-stressing equipment, a cable throwing equipment, I-beam side molds, A1, A, and A3 modular double moulds, as well as two Timpan T2 battery units.
- Self-reacting 1400 Tn bench: The prestressed elements are manufactured in universal casting bed with side moulds. A pre-stressing system with stressing heads and hydraulic equipment tightens steel strands, producing stronger concrete elements. The casting bed have a height-adjustable support structure with watertight seals. It can feature heating to accelerate concrete curing.
- I-beam side moulds: These side moulds, with manual or hydraulic opening and closing, are fixed to the supporting structure with a quick locking system and size adjustment. They include a top quick lock for maximum rigidity and modular height adjustment for elements of different heights. The length of the precast elements varies with the help of tops placement.
- Modular double mould type A, A1, and A3: Special mould designed to offer the versatility of producing three different types of elements and/or various sizes with a single moulding unit. This solution allows the production process to be optimized, guaranteeing flexibility in the manufacture of different parts without the need to change moulds.
